Why should I hire a wedding planner?
Planning a wedding is an adventure in itself. While it’s an enjoyable time, it can be stressful, time-consuming and confusing. The task of planning a wedding can be overwhelming and often the pressure is on to create the perfect day at a large expense.
I want you to love the wedding planning experience, so let me take away the stress so you can focus on enjoying the once in a lifetime experience. I’m here to guide you through the process and bring all the ideas and logistics together to create your special day.
My venue has a wedding coordinator. What is the difference between a planner and a coordinator?
A wedding planning and wedding coordinator are not the same thing. A wedding planner is your go-to person for every detail of your wedding day. This includes the budget, catering, stationery, flowers, transport, venues, accommodation, guest list, seating plan, etc. The venue wedding coordinator is responsible for things running smoothly at the venue on the day. They are expected to deal with any issues involving the venue only. A wedding planner will deal with everything and resolve issues outside the venue. For example, if the florist is running late or the best man has gone missing, a wedding planner will be on it!
We need help with our wedding planning but don’t think we can afford a planner – can you still help?
I can offer bespoke packages based on your exact requirements. The best thing to do is to get in touch and arrange an initial consultation so I can consider your situation and budget and find ways to save you money while still getting the wedding of your dreams. A wedding planner is not just for people with big budgets. The right package is available for everyone’s needs.
What can I expect from our first complimentary consultation?
Your free initial consultation will generally take an hour at a convenient location for you or over the phone or skype.
The consultation is a chance for me to get to know you and determine how I can help you with your wedding. There will be a questionnaire to fill out which will help summarise the wedding details and I will give you a welcome pack for you to keep for information.
You don’t have to decide there and then; have a think about everything discussed at the consultation and let me know if you would like to book my services. I’ll then send over a contract, liaise with you and start on your initial wedding design proposal. That’s where the fun really begins!
How soon should I book a planner?
Ideally, you would book a planner shortly after you’ve got engaged. That way the planner can help you out in the early stages of the planning process, choosing the perfect venue for example. The earlier you book a planner, the more I can help out with your wedding journey and save you the stress from the start.
However, it’s never too late to enlist help so if at any point in the planning process you feel you need help, I’ll be there to step in and take the stress away!
Will I still have control over my wedding?
Absolutely! I want you to love the wedding planning experience. Part of my passion for weddings and my business is to create a bespoke, personalised wedding day that reflects your relationship and tells your own, unique love story.
To execute this, I will work closely with you. I want you to be as involved as you want to be, depending on your time constraints. I can work with you as much or as little as you want. At the end of the day, it’s your day, and I want you to love every detail. My role is to work with you to make your dream wedding day all that you hoped for and more.

Will you be present at vendor and supplier meetings?
A specific number of meetings is included within my standard packages. However, all packages can be customised and tailored to suit your requirements.
How can you make my day one of a kind?
By working with you! The wedding day will reflect you – that’s what makes it so unique. I can offer personalised signs and bespoke pieces which would all be made especially for you for that extra level of detail.
What other services do you offer?
I love a challenge and trying new things, so if you do have a challenge for me I’d love to hear about it and see if I can help.

How much communication will we have?
There is no limit on emails or phone communication as long as it is within working hours. I want you to feel that I’m on hand to help you and answer any questions that suddenly spring to mind. Communication for me is key in delivering a successful wedding day.
